  but.....it's ok to still refer to jehovah as "our father" although those of the other sheep cannot be his "sons".

  i'm confused.

  How Involved Would You Get If You Saw Somebody Being Mistreated?

  we live in a world where people do not want to get involved.

  if they see a domestic abuse, they walk the other way.

  if they see signs of neglect or abuse, many just go on with their business.. would you get involved with a situation, even if you might get caught in a crossfire yourself?.

  A few years before 9/11, I helped a flight attendent who was shoved by a german asshole who looked like the blonde guy from diehard, because she wouldn't give him a first class meal. They arrested his butt when we touched down in DC. It does make people freeze, because you think that you will get into trouble.

  Apparently I've out-ed an old friend THE SH**T HIT THE FAN!!

  about three or four years ago my former "best friend" who is an active jw started coming by my work to eat lunch with me and chat.. in the course of our conversations we had religious discussions.. i posted on the former jwd about these discussions.

  i never mentioned his last name, but, i did use his first name.. i honestly never expected anybody to read those posts because of the curse on apostate websites.

  but, that was a bit naive, i suppose.. here is what has happened.. .

  It never ceases to amaze me that this religion can do all these things to bring question and doubt upon itself, but the members better not question a damn thing. He's embarrassed that someone may know about his doubts and he's trying to cover his ass. Don't have to remind anyone here how true of friends our former JW friends are.

  JW's are told to stay away from here, but it's probably a big game to some to try and identify people.

  me and my mom made plans to see each other today so this morning she called me and said she was already in my area and wanted to know where to meet up.

  i told her that i wasn't ready yet so to come to my apartment first.

  i said that me and my husband are still in our pjs and she gasped and ask, "you didn't go to the meeting today?

  Think About It

  Someone on here posted a great response to this issue, but I can't remember who or where it is. If I remember right, just using only the Bible it showed the succession of kings and how long each ruled. The biblical record coincided with the historical evidence pointing to 587 BCE as the destruction of Jerusalem, not 607 BCE as WTS doctrine states.

  The Dow is at 10,300 now. Keep an eye on all stock market indexes. If Dow hits 10,700 again it could be a double top and reverse sharply. If it drops below 9900 again be very cauious. If it breaks through 10,700 there could be more momentum behind this rally. Be very disciplined, use stops and stick religiously to a trading plan.

  while out running errands, incidentally getting a phone for my daughters birthday this coming week, we left the kids at home.

  i have older teenagers down to young ones....my birthday girl comes up to me as i'm putting the pizza in the oven and says that the one dude, what was his name??

  I was in a financial seminar earlier in the week and the current technical charts are strikingly similar to the post 1929 chart. After the 1929 crash there was a significant rebound and then a worse fall. Be on guard at all times! Be resolved to not ride it down again if it looks like another crash. Was talking to a broker yesterday and he was telling me about a woman who during the tech run of the late 90's turned $60,000 into $1.6 million only to ride it back down to $60,000 when the tech bubble burst.
